Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. Who We Are

Chess Platform is an online chess service operated by Mini Apps Builder, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation ("we", "us", "our"). This policy covers chessplatform.cc, the Telegram Mini App, and our iOS and Android apps.

For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@chessplatform.cc.

2. Data We Process

Account and profile data: account ID, email, name, username, avatar, country, and the identifiers supplied by Apple, Google, or Telegram when you choose those sign-in methods.

Chess and service data: moves, positions, clocks, results, ratings, tournament and club activity, achievements, notifications, device tokens, security events, and support or administrative records.

Imported reports: the source account or PGN you submit, derived game statistics, openings, opponents, and analysis results. We do not need your Chess.com or Lichess password.

Optional website analytics: after you consent, Google Analytics receives page paths with UUID identifiers removed, device/browser information, approximate location, and aggregate interaction data. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, account IDs, report IDs, or advertising identifiers.

3. Why We Use Data

We use data to authenticate accounts, run games and matchmaking, calculate ratings, provide reports and sharing, deliver notifications, operate clubs and tournaments, prevent abuse, support users, and improve reliability.

Fair Play screening uses server-recorded moves and timing patterns to prioritize games for trained administrator review. A score is not proof and the current system does not automatically ban users or change ratings or results.

4. Providers and International Processing

Supabase provides database, authentication, storage, and Edge Function infrastructure; Vercel hosts the website and administrative interface. Apple, Google, and Telegram process data when you use their sign-in or messaging services.

Google Analytics processes optional website analytics only after consent. These providers may process data in countries other than yours under their own legal and security safeguards. We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

5. Public Profiles and Shared Reports

Information you make public, such as a public profile, rating, game, tournament result, or leaderboard position, can be viewed by other people.

A saved imported report can be opened by anyone who has its unguessable share link. Do not share that link with people who should not see the report.

6. Cookies and Analytics Choices

Required cookies keep your Supabase session secure and remember essential preferences. Optional Google Analytics is disabled until you select “Allow analytics”. You can decline or withdraw consent at any time through “Analytics settings”.

We do not use advertising cookies or track you across unrelated apps and websites. Google Analytics data is configured for a retention period of up to 14 months.

7. Retention, Security, and Deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. Operational, game-integrity, audit, and security records may be retained where needed to protect the Service, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Saved reports remain until you delete the account or we remove them under our retention procedures.

You can request account deletion from the profile settings or by contacting us. Account-linked data is deleted or anonymized unless limited retention is required for security, integrity, or law. Public report links stop working when their stored report is deleted.

8. Your Rights, Children, and Changes

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw analytics consent without affecting prior lawful processing.

The Service is not directed to children below the applicable minimum digital-consent or app-store age. We may update this policy and will change the date above; material changes may also be announced in the Service.
